FLAT Stool 01 $1,200-
The design inspiration comes from creating user-friendly furniture that any individual can build without complex knowledge of woodworking.
The assembly is inspired by plastic model sets; simply cutting out the shapes on the pre-cut board and using adhesive to put together - requiring no nails in the process.
The aesthetically pleasing leftover frame also doubles as geometric home decor or even as a ladder-like towel drying rack.

These images, originally drawn with brush and ink on paper, were engraved into solid maple using a CNC, filled with black epoxy, sanded and clear coated.

This NAMI Collection is a 2022 collection designed to showcase an expressive style of wood and epoxy. Cutting the wood from the surface to a surface allows us to express unique wood grains without the usual flat expressions of the wood. You can discover the shapes of annual rings that the wood offers. The epoxy-treated furniture allows us to visibly express the shapes of the translucent NAMI waves, which are often inexpressive.
